The original station has now been closed. The tracks from the east side of Balloch level crossing to Balloch Pier station have been dismantled. The station building has been thoroughly stone-cleaned and the platform canopy removed. There were two platforms, even following the single-tracking of the Balloch Branch from here to the Pier station. A goods yard existed to the north-east of the station site. There was an engine shed to the immediate west of the station approached from the north.
