Balmore
The site of Balmore station in either late 1978 or early 1979 looking west. Closure to passengers came on 2nd April 1951 with the withdrawal of services over the section of line from Maryhill East Junction to Kelvin Valley East Junction and from that date the station became an Unstaffed Public Siding for goods / coal traffic. This continued until 31st July 1961 when the line from Maryhill to Balmore closed completely.
