Shieldhall Dock and Tramways authorised. Authorisation includes permission to close up Renfrew Road. The dock would ultimately open in 1931, named the King George V Dock. Glasgow Corporation Tramways along Renfrew Road would require a deviation to the south to accommodate the dock.

Opening of the King George V Dock. The dock quaysides were served by lines of the Glasgow and Renfrew District Railway and Shieldhall Yard laid out from Cardonald North Junction.
