This was the original name of the Dublin and Wicklow Railway until 1851.

Act passed. The Act allows the company to lease the Dublin and Kingstown Railway. The line is Great Western Railway (England) supported. (Known as the 'Three W's.)

Act passed allowing the company to deviate the line, compulsorily purchase required land and commence construction between Dublin and Wexford once 3/4 of shares are subscribed to, and continue to Waterford once the rest are subscribed to. This overrides the Kingstown and Bray Railway Act. The work, supervised by Isambard Kingdom Brunel, begins at Dalkey [2nd] but stalls.
09/07/1847Dublin, Dundrum and Rathfarnham Railway
Act passed to allow alteration to the Dublin terminus' location, closer to Stephen's Green. Further the company may sell or lease its line to the Waterford, Wexford, Wicklow and Dublin Railway or Dublin and Kingstown Railway.
