Starbeck

Platform view at Starbeck on 24 April 2009, looking south east over High Street level crossing. Opened in 1848 by the Leeds and Thirsk Railway the station was named Harrogate until 1857. Just beyond the signal box stood Starbeck shed, latterly carrying the BR code 50D. The shed, along with the sizeable adjacent goods yard, was closed in September 1959.
