Preston (Ribble Branch)
Barclay 0-6-0 DH shunter 615/1977 worked at various North East collieries from new until withdrawal in 2004 when it moved to the Tanfield Railway See image 9453. At 52 tons it was too big for the Tanfield but was ideal for moving 1000 ton tanker trains and so it has been loaned to the RSR where it arrived in 2007. It is seen here alongside the river heading for the swing bridge and unloading point.
