Photograph taken looking east from the pavement alongside the old Bathgate shed (just off picture to the right) on 28 August 2009. On the left is the A89 Edinburgh Road while over to the right a train has just left the current Bathgate terminus and is running alongside recently erected electrification masts on its way to Waverley. Between the road and the railway is part of the area currently being cleared in preparation for the construction of the new station, car parking, access roads and associated infrastructure.
