Although Harry Beck's famous underground map (inspired by wiring
diagrams) was available from 1933 this many-folded pocket map of July 1938 does not carry it, but rather 3 versions of the same more
conventional map with the colour-coded lines superimposed.  This is
detail of the Central Area from the main map, and not all stations are shown.  Oddly, although the Circle Line opened in 1884 it wasn't given a separate colour (yellow) until 1949.
