Inverness

A Class 26 (with the second man hanging out of the window) powers away from platform 2 at Inverness in the 1970s. In the distance is the Blue Circle cement silo (still receiving traffic by rail in 2010), a Class 47 for 'The Clansman', a Class 26 with snow plough and the Loco Shed signal box. To the right vans are standing in the freight depot below the gantry lighting for the two Motorail sidings.
