Sudbury [2nd]

The poster in the signal box window says 'Support local rail services. Use it, don't lose it!' The townsfolk of Sudbury, Suffolk, did and didn't. However, the box was abolished in early 1981 three years after this photo, from which time the train crews could no longer look forward to the kettle being on for them as they approached the Sudbury terminus.
