Happy days at Filey Holiday Camp in the summer of 1970. Class 47 no 1543 is awaiting departure from platform 4 on Saturday 15 August with train 1N60, the 10.20 to Newcastle. Standing on the station concourse in the left background is one of the Butlins road-trains used to ferry passengers between the station and the camp itself via a private tunnel under the A165 road.
