Preston
A reduced requirement for Thunderbirds has seen some Virgin Class 57s recently reported as stored but there is usually one on standby at Preston. Others are used on the Holyhead to Cardiff loco hauled passenger service. 57313, reliveried in Neutral Blue, is in the short siding at the north end of Platform 3 as 150146 runs in to Platform 2 on a Blackpool to Liverpool service.
