Class 47 no 1879 on a northbound train of oil tanks, thought to be returning empty to Tees-side, on the Midland 'Old Road' at Killamarsh in July 1971. The train is passing a pair of class 20s heading an unbraked train of 16t coal wagons south on the up line.
