Gresley A3 Pacific no 4472 Flying Scotsman runs through a fog-bound Durranhill on the eastern edge of Carlisle on 26 October 1968 with train 1Z12 the 1.30pm ex-Carlisle RCTS/Flying Scotsman Enterprises 'Moorlands Rail Tour'. The special was on its way back to Liverpool Lime Street via the S&C, Leeds, Wakefield Kirkgate and Manchester Victoria.
