Carnforth

The DRS Class 37s that have been in long term storage at Carnforth (37605/612/261) departed for Carlisle in April 2011 leaving only the six DRS Class 20s and BRCW Type 3 33030 on this road behind the station. However they have been joined by Brush Type 4 No. 47772 in faded RES red livery and a smart looking West Coast EE Type 3 No. 37214. At the other end of this long line, but less accessible for photographs, were Brush Type 4 No. 47768 in green undercoat and EE Type 3 No. 37668 in faded EWS livery.
