Largs Pier
The world's first diesel electric paddle vessel DEPV Talisman arriving at Largs from Millport on a Sunday in July 1966. Built for the London and North Eastern Railway in 1935 by A & J Inglis (later builders of PS Waverley) at Pointhouse on the Clyde, she was withdrawn shortly after this picture was taken and eventually scrapped at Arnott Youngs, Dalmuir.
