Normanton

Lockes Sidings box on the right controlled the access off the ex-L&Y Calder Valley line into St John's colliery sidings at Normanton. Pre-nationalisation the mine had been owned by Locke & Co (Newland) Ltd, hence the signalbox name. Goose Hill Junction, where the L&Y met the MR, can be seen in the distance.
