Burscough Junction
View along the disused but now tidied-up platform at Burscough Jct on 21 August 2010. The view is from slightly further north than the photograph 24 years earlier see image 38989. Class 142s are often still seen on the Preston - Ormskirk shuttle, however on the day in question I was much too involved in my work to photograph passing trains! [Editor's note: Alongside Burscough Junction station stands a well known local hostelry named 'The Junction Hotel.']
