Wakefield

47818 runs down from Normanton with the diverted 14.41 cross country York - Plymouth service on 18 April 1992. The train is slowing to turn left onto the Turner Lane Junction - Calder Bridge Junction spur (just out of shot) to reach the Leeds - Doncaster line at Hare Park Junction. The loco is still extant as of April 2016, although currently stored at Longtown after DRS put its Class 47 fleet up for sale. It is indicated that it has been purchased by Arlington services based at Eastleigh works
