Newnham Bridge

Suddenly it's 1970 - but Virgil Exner is nowhere to be seen. Despite many signs being stolen, and others being removed to Collectors' Corner, this kind of back-to-nature look must have been quite common on abandoned lines in the late 1960's. Newnham Bridge station was used as a garden centre until about 2007, but is now abandoned; so its obscuration by trees has been delayed by some 45 years. View looks North in an unusually cold April 2013. see image 42646
