Eastfield Shed
NB J36 0-6-0 no 65293 photographed in the sidings alongside Eastfield shed on 4 March 1963. The locomotive had been officially withdrawn from Carlisle Canal shed approximately 4 months earlier and was eventually cut up at Motherwell Machinery & Scrap, Wishaw, in April 1965. [Additional: Peter Hughes noticed the locomotive at Gourock in April 1963 in use as a stationary boiler for carriage heating].
