Carstairs

A Virgin Trains London Euston - Glasgow Central service runs north through Carstairs on a wet and windy 6 September 2002 hauled by 90002. In 1998 this locomotive became the first to be turned out in Virgin Trains red and black livery. It was named 'Mission Impossible' to launch the challenge of upgrading passenger services on the WCML.
