An automatic level crossing, located just east of the still used small freight yard, runs across the minor road Route de Vives in the centre of St-Jean-Pla-de-Corts village. The yard western head shunt is now the limit of the non electrified operational section of the line, continuing west from Le Boulou west yard electrified head shunt, that is still extant through to Ceret Station.
