Garsdale

In January 1990 Ruswarp's owner, Graham Nuttall, got into difficulties walking near Llandrindod Wells, Powys. Ruswarp was found loyally waiting by his body eleven weeks later, dying not long after the funeral. To honour the dog, and his owner, this statue has been placed at Garsdale station. Nuttall had been one of the many who signed the petition against closure of the S&C and Ruswarp placed his paw print.
