Whitegate
In order to gain access to industry in Winsford, the CLC constructed a line from just west of Cuddington to Winsford & Over. The only other station on the branch was at Whitegate, although the village of the same name is many miles away. Much of the trackbed of the branch has been converted into The Whitegate Way and the station building at Whitegate is now a very pleasant cafe. This view north-west shows the station complete with platform face on 06 May 2018 prior to taking refreshments.
