Scarborough Londesborough Road

Standing in Westover Road, Scarborough on a Sunday morning in September 2008 looking south west towards the junction with Londesborough Road. The latter was the name eventually adopted by the station built here in 1908 (originally as Scarborough Excursion) and whose blank wall panels stand on the left, with the former station entrance beyond. The station closed to all traffic in 1966 and the premises were subsequently taken over by a motor vehicle servicing company.
