Hornby

Station Court at Hornby, and a small industrial unit behind it, occupy the site of Hornby Station and the trackbed of the North Western line from Wennington to Lancaster. The station closed in 1957, around nine years before the line itself. The road from the village climbs past the site to the bridge which still spans the trackbed.
