Photographed in March 1981, from the kitchen window at the back of one Hyndland’s many tenement flats, a freshly painted electric unit sits outside the ‘blue train’ depot. The then relatively new 'Trans Clyde' branding has been applied, but there is no sign of the Greater Glasgow 'GG' that sometimes preceded it.
