Huncoat
Direct Rail Services 66426 passing through Huncoat on 18th February 2025, working the 6E73 1035hrs Shap Summit Quarry to Doncaster Up Decoy. In early 2025, Shap Summit Quarry has seen a sharp increase in operations with this flow of ballast to Doncaster running more regularly, whilst DRS also have the contract to move stone from Shap to Drigg BNF on the Cumbrian Coast for the next few weeks.
