Martham: Despite being extensively modified, the standard Wilkinson and Jarvis station building design so characteristic of the M&GN railway was still recognizable at Martham on 1st October 1977. The station had closed in 1959 and became a storage yard for Butagas, a bottled gas company. It appears that removal of the platform, window replacement and rendering had taken place a short time before. The sign informs that the yard is closed on Saturdays and refers enquirers to Martham DIY Centre. All that remains today is a housing development signed as 'Station Close'.

Kinbrace: Kinbrace station, like Forsinard, sits directly by the A897 rural road running south from Melvich on the north coast, to Helmsdale on the east coast of Sutherland. The remaining former southbound platform is seen from alongside the level crossing on the B871 single track road running north east back to the north coast further west.

Gilmerton: In 1995 the Bilston Glen branch had been out of use for a few years. The track was to remain in place for a while yet, and the trackbed here did not open as a walkway until 2018. The view looks northeast towards Millerhill. Gilmerton station platform was on the left in the middle distance with Gilmerton pit to the right of the line.

South Kenton: 350266 to Euston, passing South Kenton station, on 18th December 2019. This station is served by London Overground trains between Watford Junction and Euston and London Underground Bakerloo Line trains between Harrow & Wealdstone and Elephant & Castle. It is a good place to photo the comings and goings on the adjacent WCML.
