Opened on the Stirling and Dunfermline Railway.

Description

This junction was immediately west of Whitemyre Junction. (See Whitemyre Junction for main entry.) At Charlestown Junction a short curve ran south east to the Charlestown Railway. This opened in 1850 to connect the Stirling and Dunfermline Railway to that line. It closed in 1967. Whitemyre Junction was with the West of Fife Mineral Railway, this portion opening in 1858 and closing in 1963.
