Opened on the Cockermouth and Workington Railway.

Description

This was the eastern terminus of the Cockermouth and Workington Railway.

With the extension of that line east from Cockermouth Junction by the Cockermouth, Keswick and Penrith Railway it was left on a short branch and became a goods yard, being replaced by Cockermouth [2nd] further east.

The goods yard closed in 1964.
