01/10/1957	Londonderry and Enniskillen Railway Line closed from Omagh to Enniskillen [DandER] including the Fintona branch.
01/10/1957	Sligo, Leitrim and Northern Counties Railway Line closes with the withdrawal of Stormont Government support of the Great Northern Railway [Ireland]. The line cannot operate with closure of Dundalk to Enniskillen [D&ER] and Omagh, and Portadown to Clones and Cavan.
/ /1965	Dublin and Antrim Junction Railway Re-opened to passengers to carry CIE trains to Londonderry on closure of the route via Omagh.
15/02/1965	Portadown, Dungannon and Omagh Railway Londonderry and Enniskillen Railway Closure from Portadown Junction to Londonderry [Foyle Road] via Omagh. Traffic from Dublin for Donegal diverted via Coleraine instead.
