Description

This is a double track masonry viaduct of ten arches crossing the Annick Water. The viaduct is south of Stewarton station. It is 555 ft long. Officially Stewarton Viaduct, also known as Annick Water Viaduct.

From the late 1973 until 2009 it carried only one track, the northbound line having been lifted, but it now carries two with the extension of the Lugton loop south through Dunlop and Stewarton to Lochridge Junction.

The engineer for the bridge was William Johnstone.
