Edinburgh trams: 1.5 million passengers in first 100 days [BBC News]

Edinburgh^s new tram line has carried 1.5 million passengers since services began operating 100 days ago.
Transport for Edinburgh said passenger numbers and revenue levels were ^in line with predictions^.
About 130,000 passengers used the trams in the week after their launch. Since then, an average of 90,000 people have travelled by tram each week.
