Hole, Hatherleigh, Meeth Halt, Petrockstow, Dunsbear Halt, Yarde Halt, Watergate Halt, Torrington, Bideford [2nd], Instow, Fremington. Halwill to near Meeth Clay Works closed.
/08/1982	North Devon and Cornwall Junction Light Railway Torrington and Marland Light Railway Torrington Extension (London and South Western Railway) Bideford Extension Railway Taw Vale Railway and Dock Company 'The Devon Explorer' runs from Barnstaple to Meeth Clay Works and return.
08/11/1982	North Devon and Cornwall Junction Light Railway Torrington and Marland Light Railway Torrington Extension (London and South Western Railway) Bideford Extension Railway Taw Vale Railway and Dock Company Line officially closed from Meeth Clay Works to Barnstaple. Clay traffic had transferred to road.
/06/1984	North Devon and Cornwall Junction Light Railway Torrington and Marland Light Railway Torrington Extension (London and South Western Railway) Bideford Extension Railway Taw Vale Railway and Dock Company Track lifting begins, working back from Meeth Clay Works through Torrington and Bideford to Barnstaple.
/08/2009	Taw Vale Railway and Dock Company Bideford Extension Railway 10 miles of model railway track laid from Barnstaple to Bideford along the Tarka Trail for an episode of 'James May's Toy Stories'. Using a series of model trains Instow was reached, 7 miles from the start.
