Dalkey Quarry Tramway

Introduction

This tramway connected Dalkey Quarry with the harbour at Dun Laoghaire (Kingstown), stone from the quarry being used in the harbour construction. It was a double track tramway.

Its route was used by the Dalkey Atmospheric Railway (Dublin and Kingstown Railway), initially using the course of one of the two tracks.
