Helston Railway

Introduction

The Helston Railway was a branch which ran south from Gwinear Road, on the main line in Cornwall, to Helston. It opened in 1882 and closed in 1964. A heritage railway of the same name runs from Prospidnick Halt to Truthall Halt with an intention to re-open as much of the former line as possible.
