/ /1960	Lithgows Ltd Kingston Works (Engineering & Shipbuilding) rebuilt entirely. This re-equipping allowed the yard to build bulk carriers of up to 800 ft long.
/ /1965	William Baird Mining Ltd William Baird Mining Ltd, which did not generally own vessels, buys the ore carrier MV Dalhanna (built by Lithgows Ltd 1958) from Northern Merchantile & Investments Corporation Ltd.
