Venturefair Waggonway
Introduction
The Venture-Fair Coal Railroad was opened early in 1812 by Mr. Syme. The waggonway connected Syme's colliery at Venture-Fair, one mile north-east of Dunfermline to Knabbie Street, where his town coal depot was situated.
