After taking the west to south curve from Slateford Junction, a Virgin Voyager is about to join the 'sub' at Craiglockhart Junction. The train will then take 'the scenic route' via Niddrie West and Portobello to enter Waverley from the east. The diversion was the result of an engineering works possession at Haymarket on Sunday 2 April 2006.
