Leith Walk Tram Depot
The demise of Leith's railway system was hastened by the arrival of the trams operated by both Edinburgh and Leith Corporations. The old Leith tram depot is seen looking east across Leith Walk in September 2006. The large tram shed is located behind the depot's former admin block, latterly used by the DSS. The Edinburgh Corporation depot was located a short distance to the south at Shrubhill. See image 24094
