Craighead Viaduct

View south over Craighead Viaduct from Bothwell towards Hamilton in March 2006. The 727 feet span viaduct was the first major project of Sir William Arrol of Dalmarnock Ironworks who went on to construct the Forth Bridge and Tower Bridge. Dismantling of the piers is being planned.
