Carlisle

Southbound freight passing the former Viaduct Yard, beyond which stands the bridge that took the goods lines across the Caldew. The long grey building now occupies the site of Dentonholme goods depot. Prominent centre background is the historic Dixons Chimney (1836), part of the former Shaddon Mill on Junction Street (now private apartments).
