Bonnington Level Crossing
Remains of the former flat crossing at Bonnington in May 1985. View looks southwest along the old trackbed towards Warriston Junction and Scotland Street with Bonnington station and the line to Leith North directly behind the photographer. Crossing on the level from left to right is the line running up to Granton Harbour (latterly serving a Texaco oil depot) which had recently closed and which now terminates at the Powderhall waste disposal depot on Broughton Road off to the left. Both former routes are now walkways.
