Scene at Glasgow Central in September 2007, looking out along the car parking area soon to be occupied by new platforms 12 & 13. (Platform 11 on the left will remain, the edges of the new 12 and 13 will roughly follow the white lines, with the current 12 on the right becoming 14). Based on proposals agreed earlier in the year the new platform lines will enter the station via the arch in the background. (Addendum: Plans for Glasgow Airport Rail Link shelved in September 2009 - refer later entries).
