Huncoat
Huncoat signal box once controlled access to the colliery across a second level crossing to the right of the one that remains. There were also sidings for the brickworks in the area behind the box now occupied by the trees. Signalling on this line has been controlled from Preston since 1972 but Huncoat box was retained to operate the level crossing and only finally closed in 2014.
