Hawkhead [1st]
A Black 5 takes a train of empty stock through Hawkhead station heading east towards Glasgow in 1962. In the background, on the west side of Hawkhead Road, stand the chimneys of Bells Laundry, now an air park, while the area to the left of the picture is now occupied by Hawkhead fuel depot.
