Rufford
Northern Belle stock with 67028 leading and 67030 at the rear enters Rufford station with the evening ecs movement from Crewe to Ormskirk on 18 July 2008. The train was operating from Euston in connection with the Open Golf Championships at Royal Birkdale near Southport. When the normal service is one single or two car unit, it is quite a difference when you get 11 coaches plus a locomotive at either end trying to use the loop and the platforms. It is reported that only 3 of the 11 coaches were able to access the platform at Ormskirk!
