Grangemouth No 1 Signal Box
Last day of passenger services at Grangemouth on Saturday 27 January 1968. View is south towards Fouldubs Junction, with Grangemouth station behind the camera. A diesel shunter stands on the freight lines to the left while the branch railbus (W79978), which latterly handled traffic on the Grangemouth - Falkirk - Larbert - Alloa (via the swing bridge) route is seen heading for Grahamston. On the right is a last day special DMU showing Gourock on the destination blind.
